Mainstream adoption of distributed ledger technology is an important topic here at VETRI. Therefore, we were thrilled when we were invited to contribute our knowledge to a blockchain introductory workshop for entrepreneurs and SMEs at the various Raiffeisen Centers for Entrepreneurs (RUZ) across Switzerland.
Together with blockchain entrepreneurs Toni Caradonna, Oliver Rückgauer and Jakob Gulunay, VETRI community manager Dominique Kunz held workshops at the centers in Bern, Aarau, Zug and St. Gallen. In the workshops, she presented the VETRI solution for digital identity and personal data management as an illustration of how blockchain is being employed in real life use cases.
The many questions and lively discussions emerging from the workshops clearly showed that the awareness for the value of personal data is growing in Switzerland and that SMEs are looking for new solutions to gain independence from large data brokers and to strengthen the trust of consumers into their brand. We thank the Raiffeisen Bank Group for their trust and their continued effort to make blockchain technology accessible to a larger audience.
